Challenging times but planning success

In these challenging times the practice is particularly pleased to be working with a number of clients both small and large around the country sharing the challenges and success of the building industry. The recent change in everyone working patterns has required the team to review how we normally work, and relate to our clients. We have been used to working with our clients remotely for some time and utilize Microsoft teams, and cloud based storage to hep share information and keep connected. Our work with planners is more challenging as we have always strived to meet face to face and build a relationship with our planning colleagues to help ensure we can work together on the applications. A recently application for a scheme in North Devon resulted in a new experience of walking around the site on google maps whilst screen sharing our proposal with the planner to help explain our approach and whilst not ideal shows where their is a will their is a way.

On a more positive note we are pleased to of achieved a planning approval for our scheme in Lyme Regis recently and have submitted five more schemes in Croyde, Appledore, and Beaford into the local planning authorities this month so we hope that we are able to continue our virtual meetings to see these schemes progress.
