Blending the old and new, this Paragraph 80 house delivers a highly efficient, contemporary, Grand Designs style sustainable home.

Our client’s family had owned a plot of land with amazing views over the coastline for many generations. Offering camping holidays until recently, they’d never had the opportunity to make the most out of the site. Together, we came up with a fantastic design that offered them the contemporary home they wanted, with views to die for.

Working from an existing stone store which had long since past its best, we wanted to deliver an inspirational build. We were keen to retain the store structure and as such, we encapsulated it into the fabric of the new house ensuring the history of the site became part of the future.

The scheme looks to utilise the family’s love of animals, with horses helping to fuel a renewable heating strategy. This unique approach, along with super insulated and triple glazed windows, sees us achieve a highly efficient sustainable house.
